Ugh, it's Monday! I have a total case of the Monday's too! It's raining here in the burbs of Chicago, and freezing rain none the less! But, it is the second week in December and we have 16 days until Christmas. How is your shopping going? Perhaps you are in need of some ideas for the tech lovers on your list? If so, you have come to the right place! I have a few ideas I can share, after all, I live with several tech geeks who can be hard to shop for as well!

So, you want to impress that tech geek on your list who is probably hard to shop for. Well, check out the items below. And, one thing to remember about tech geeks is that they tend to be big kids...they still love toys!

1. The Gift of Subscriptions.  You can choose from things like Netflix, Pandora, Beats Music, Hulu or Amazon Prime. Or you can go with things like Dropbox, iCloud or a password manager too.

2. Hue Starter Kit.  This particular item is on Dave's list, as well as our youngest daughters! With the Hue lighting system, you can create the lighting theme of your choice via your smartphone.  You can create themes based on colors in a photo, so say you love the ocean, boom you can create a mood based on your favorite ocean photo. Or, feeling festive, make some holiday themes too!

3. Limited Edition Drone with Camera.  Dave and our son were talking about this one over the weekend! Their own drone!! What's next?

4. Happy Hour at Home! Dave tweeted about this one being on his wish list the other day! An at home alcoholic beverage maker!

5. iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. Ok, good luck finding one of these. A CNET survey says 42 percent of people believe they won't be able to find an iPhone 6 and 71 percent believe that both the 6 and 6 Plus will be out of stock! If you can find one, I am partial to the 6 Plus. Happy hunting!

6. iPad Air 2. These may be easier to find than the iPhones. They are the lightest and thinnest iPad yet. Also, the newest model boasts the delightful Touch ID!

7. Apple TV.  Apple TV makes my list for the 2nd year straight! We love this pint-sized little device! You can stream Netflix and Hulu through it, even Beats Music now too! You can rent movies from iTunes and your tech geek can watch a plethora of technology themed podcasts! I am sure Dave could provide some recommendations, like say uh "Tech TV" or "iPad Today" perhaps!

8. Fitbit or fitness tracker. Does your tech lover also love fitness? This item is something our athlete son loves. He loves to track his steps and compare with his friends. I have a Polar FT4 fitness watch as I prefer a heart rate monitor, but both are stellar items!

So, there you have 8 plus items for your tech geek! With a varying range of prices and items, you are sure to find something to make even the pickiest tech geek happy this holiday season!
