It's late May, that means Graduation season is upon us. Around the United States graduations from preschool, all the way through to grueling degrees from Grad School or Medical School and beyond are taking place.

Graduation season is the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. Whether it means starting a new school, moving out for the first time to go away to college or finishing school and entering the workforce as an adult with a full-time job. No matter what the Grads next stage in life is, they are celebrating. With that celebration comes parties and gifts. Perhaps you are looking for the perfect gift idea for a grad you know. No worries, I have some tech savvy suggestions for you.

1. MacBook. For the grads entering high school, college or the workforce the gift of an Apple laptop is useful and fun. Grad's can utilize their MacBook for studying, research, gaming, coding, streaming videos or job hunting. For the budget conscious checkout Apple's line of refurbished products. They all come with a full warranty just like a new product but at a lower cost.

2. Chromebook. Perhaps your budget doesn't accommodate an Apple product or maybe you just don't care for Apple in general. That's ok there are other options. Check out Google's Chromebook

3. Microsoft Surface. Another alternative is the Microsoft Surface family of tablets that functions as a laptop. The Surface can be either a laptop or tablet.

5. Subscriptions. Giving the gift of a subscription is a gift that can bring lasting entertainment. You can give a subscription to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Google Drive, Dropbox. These are awesome gifts for a graduate.

6. Resume assistance. Assist new grads in the job market with assistance in creating a stellar resume. There are various online services such as CareerBest or Resume Express.

7. Apple TV. We have reviewed Apple TV here on the blog several times, and it has made several of our tech gift suggestion blogs. It can be used to stream movies, music, and videos. It works with Netflix and Hulu and also now HBO NOW. Perfect for the grads who don't want a cable bill!
