It's Monday. I am not a Monday fan. I usually need things on Monday morning to kick my creative juices into gear. Heck, let's face it, it's not just my creative juices that need a swift kick on Monday's, but we won't dwell on that. So for today's blog, I want to share a fun new app Dave turned me onto. If you need some creative inspiration, this one will provide it hand's down.

Today's featured app is "Sktchy". This app has so much creativity going on it's awesome. This app allows individuals to upload pictures of themselves, pets, scenery, etc and have another individual turn it into a work of art. This app can appeal to many different types of individuals. Maybe you are an artist and you want to gain more exposure. Maybe you are art lover and utilize the app as a virtual museum to discover new artists. Heck, maybe you're so vain that you just want someone to sketch you. Doesn't matter, this app has you covered. According to the Sktchy Blog, artists from 60+ countries are using the app, by uploading your photo you open the possibility of being someone's inspiration. You can also follow them on Twitter.

It doesn't matter if you are a serious artist hoping to be discovered, or if art is your hobby. You can find inspiration in others and show the world your talent, or allow others to see things through your eyes. Ever wonder how someone else sees you? Wouldn't it be cool to see yourself through the eyes of an artist? How they capture your personality, feelings by way of the expression on your face. Take the time to download this app. Maybe you don't have any interest in being some strangers Mona Lisa, but take a look at some of these brilliant pieces and tell you don't feel inspired.
